   Some good stuff in here.  Delegating is difficult for middle managers, who don&#039;t really have much authority to hold those they delegate authority responsible for performance.  Gov&#039;t is a classic example, it is virtually impossible to fire a gov&#039;t employee for missing performance goals.  I&#039;m glad you tied authority and responsibility to each other.</description>
