		<description>Excellent post John - this is something that I live through daily, and the sooner that you realize that you have to prepare to be successful and that it doesn&#039;t just magically happen, the better off you&#039;ll be.  Being able to develop a plan for answering these questions and then implementing that plan is a key difference between those functional expects and those who will become leaders of the business.  There are tradeoffs to both - the question then becomes, where does someone want to take their career?</description>
